Apple stores in Delhi and Mumbai have generated monthly sales of more than ₹22–25 crore each as per the report. Electronic industry analysts said that the amount is almost twice what a gadget store in the nation would have sold during the non-Diwali season. As a result, in terms of revenue, Apple Store is the biggest electronics shop in the entire country.
On April 18, the Apple store was opened in Mumbai, followed by two days later opened its second store in New Delhi. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, was there for the opening of both locations. According to the report more than ₹10 crore was billed on its first day sale
Apple Mumbai store in Reliance Jio World Drive building in 22,000 square feet at Bandra Kurla Complex, for a monthly rent of ₹42 lakh, and Apple Delhi store in Select City walk Mall is over 10,000 square feet, reportedly rent ₹40 lakh per month.
According to reports, Apple has plans to open three new Apple Stores in India as part of the growth of its retail presence there. The choice by Apple to increase its retail presence in India is a component of the company’s global strategy to strengthen its reputation as a brand in emerging areas while increasing the consumer experience in the US and Europe.
Apple right now owns over 520 stores in 26 countries, and these locations are essential for the launch of new products, customer service, and educational sessions.
