Shri Tirupati Balaji Temple (Richest temple in the world in terms of donation received) this Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara an incarnation of God Vishnu, also known as Balaji, Srinivasa, and Govinda, this temple is a landmark of Vaishnavite situated Tirumala hills at Tirupati Andhra Pradesh.

It said that God Vishnu who appeared here in Kali Yuga to save a human from troubles, average pilgrims visit here 50K to 100K daily, (Approximately around 40 million in a year) but during the period of annual Brahmotsavam more than 500K pilgrims reach here which makes it a most-visited holy place in the world, other than Brahmotsavam Vaikunda Ekadasi and Ratha Saptami also celebrated here, this temple is famously known by Tirupati Balaji Temple and Tirupati Temple.

History of Venkateshwara Temple It is believed that this temple was constructed for the first time in 300 AD by the Dravidian architecture, Shri Venkateshwara Temple is one of the eight Vishnu swayambhu kshetras and listed as last and 106th Divya Desam on earth. It follows the tradition of worship Vaikhanasha Agama, It is believed according to the legends Deity (Murti) of Lord Venkateshwara shall remain here in the temple for the entire duration of Kali Yuga. and now the temple is managing by its trust board (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) the estimated annual budget of pilgrims donations is INR 2530.10 Crores for the financial year 2015 – 16. you must visit Shri Venkateshwara Temple at least once in your lifetime to feel it.
