Tanker truck fire has damaged a part of i-95 east coast's main north-south highway in Philadelphia, PA

The collaps reportedly happened after a large tanker truck fire broke out near Cottman Ave underneath I-95 around 6.15 am.

Official announced that Southbound and Northbound lanes are very busy stretch of the road will be shut down atleast for a month.

There were no immediate report of injuries however, we are still trying to find individual or individuals who may have been caught in the fire. he added

State Transportation Dept spokesman Brad Rudolph said some kind of crash happened around 6 15 am on a ramp underneath northbound I-95, and fire quickly collapsed above northbound section.

Former Philadelphia police sergeant Mark Fusetti said that he saw heavy, black smoke rising over the highway as he was heading south towards the airport.
