Manchester United mutually terminated their contract with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United sent terminated contract with the club with immediate effect to Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday, 11.22.22.

Cristiano Ronaldo tweeted after terminating contract said that I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never ever change. it feels like the right time for me to seek a new challenges.

Manchester United released a statement stating that both parties had come to an agreement and club wished Ronaldo success in his future endeavours.

The club thanks Cristiano Ronaldo for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him.

Ronaldo said he felt betrayed by Manchester United and manager Erik ten Hag, I don't have respect for Erik ten Hag, because he doesn't show respect for me.

Ronaldo criticized other two senior level executive of the club said I felt that some people don't want me here, not only this year but last year too.

Ronaldo had earlier played for the club between the years 2003-2009 then rejoined United from Juventus in 2021.
