Kedarnath Dham:- The opening date of Kedarnath after the winter season has been announced, devotees will be able to enter the temple beginning April 25 at 6.20 am. On the other side Badrinath Dham will open its doors on April 27 at 7.10 am this year.
On the auspicious occation of Mahashivratri, the officials has announced the eleventh Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiv “Kedarnath Dham” in the presence of Vedapathis and Acharyaganas st Omkareshwar Temple.
According to BKTC President Ajendra Ajay, the timing of Kedarnath’s doors opening is determined each year on the festival of Shivratri at a program held at Omkareshwar Temple, Baba Kedar’s winter shrine.
While all of this is happening on, the Uttarakhand government is gearing up for the Char Dham yatra, which includes the Kedarnath, Yamunotri, Gangotri, and Badrinath dhams. The government will implement fresh preparations to support the Char Dham Yatra this year in light of the record number of pilgrims who participated in the yatra last year.
