It was a state earlier then it was reorganized into two union territories along with Leh Ladakh in 2019. Kashmir  is the northern frontier state of India, locked in Himalayan Mountain surrounded by Snow-Capped Mountains, Massive Glaciers, Deep Thick Forests, Beautiful Mountain Peaks, Tall Pine Trees, Splendid Monasteries, and Blue Lakes and Rivers are the most attraction of this land.

Srinagar is the largest city in Kashmir region earlier this was the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River. The city is known for its stunning natural beauty, including the Dal Lake and its twisting waterways, tree-lined Nagin Lake, and the Mughal Gardens. You rent one of the wooden boats called shikaras for a daytime or twilight cruise to explore the city.

Amarnath Yatra

Amarnath a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Amarnath Yatra is an annual pilgrimage to the temple in Kashmir region. The temple is located in the Himalayas at an elevation of 3,888 m (12,756 feet). Thousands of Hindu devotees  come to the pilgrimage during the months of July and August from all across India. There will be a registration process for the Amarnath Yatra is usually announced by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB). You will have to submit  personal details and obtaining a yatra permit. The Shrine Board provides information on the required documents and fees for the pilgrimage on their official website.
