Trimbakeshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. This temple situated by the bank of Godavari river (also called Vridha Ganga) one of the longest Peninsular of the Western Ghats located in Trimbak near Nasik in Maharashtra. The temple’s Jyotirlinga is its three faces represent Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra. Respectfully only male pilgrims are allowed in the core area or ‘Garbhgriha’ of the temple, and they must wear a sovala or a silk dhoti in order to enter the temple premises.
