First Kingsway then Rajpath now Kartavya Path
On Thursday evening Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kartavya Path which was Rajpath earlier. PM Modi said that Rajpath has become history and new era has begun in the form of Kartavya Path from today. Kingsway or Rajpath, a symbol of colonialism and slavery of British Rule.
PM Narendra Modi also said in his speech while inaugurating the Kartavya Path that the country has changed various laws that were there since the time of British Rule. but now its architecture has changed, and spirit has changed, So when the ministers or officers will pass through this route it will remind them of their Kartavya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled 28-feet statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (India’s iconic freedom fighter) statue near India Gate where a Hologram statue of Netaji was unveiled by PM Modi on 23 January to mark the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji known as Parakram Diwas. Previously featured a bust of Britain’s King George V which was later removed in 1968 and shifted to the Coronation Park located on Burari Road near Nirankari Sarovar in Delhi.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose statue is completely hand sculpted using traditional techniques and modern tools by Arun Yogiraj and his sculptors team who spent 26,000 man hours of intense artistic endeavor weighing 65 MT by chiseling the huge granite monolith. This is one of the tallest, monolithic, and realistic handmade sculptures in India and the granite block was sourced from a quarry in Khammam, Telangana. 100-ft-long truck with 140 wheels was specially designed to carry Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose statue. from Khammam district of Telangana state to Delhi at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) a distance of 1,665 kilometers. with the granite block weighing 280 metric tones (MT)
