The Kerala Story an Indian movie in Hindi with was made by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen. The storyline revolves around a group of Keralan ladies who became Muslims and joined the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The main plot of the film is the purported radicalization and conversion to Islam of young Hindu women in Kerala, which led to their forced recruitment into ISIS. According to the movie, the tale of three young girls from various regions of Kerala is genuine.

The Kerala Story movie has sparked outrage for portraying itself as a true story and making misleading claims that hundreds of Kerala women are being converted to Islam and recruited into ISIS. It is accused of advancing the Sangh Parivar’s agenda. According to the teaser, 32,000 Kerala women were converted to Islam and recruited by the terror organization Islamic State.

ISIS is an acronym that stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. It is a violent organization that arose in 2014 as a branch of al Qaeda. It swiftly seized control of wide swaths of Iraq and Syria, hoisting its black flag in triumph.

The Kerala Story movie reportedly made close to Rs 8.3 crore on Day 1 and 11.22 crore on Day 2, This indicates that the movie has a growth of 39.73 percent, the film released on May 5.
