Coronavirus update India: The number of confirmed cases reported in the country rose to 15712 (active cases 12974) and the death toll jumped to 488 on Sunday, after 27 casualties were reported in the past 24 hours, while 2,230 are cured. reports according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Ludhiana’s assistant commissioner of police (ACP) died of COVID-19, at least 26 serving navy personnel tested positive for COVID-19 within naval premises at Mumbai. The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) said a total of 3.72 lakh samples had been tested as on Saturday.

The novel coronavirus has infected over 2 million people globally and led to the deaths of over 1,60,000 people.
