The Union Health Ministry confirmed 88 new cases of Coronavirus today in India which includes 47 foreign nationals. Total number COVID-19 infected case rise to 694 and death reached 16 so far. India is in a complete lockdown for 21 days that began from 25 March as per the orders of the Government of India. Maharashtra is the most Coronavirus affected state with 121 positive cases wherein Kerala is in second place with 110 positive cases.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan chaired a GoM meeting to assess the situation in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak in the country. According to officials, the ministry of home affairs is monitoring the lockdown through a control room. Here is a state-wise count of coronavirus as per the health ministry.
